The Toledo Blade's Arts section highlighted the "Arts for a Cause" Bracelet on Sunday, June 23rd, supporting the African elephant Kirkja. The campaign for Kirkja has been a great success, surpassing our target by selling 88 units. We are grateful to The Toledo Blade for their support and guidance, leading to an extension of the campaign.
The response from the community has been overwhelming, with numerous calls and visits from supporters expressing their willingness to contribute. Many have shared personal connections and cherished memories of the Zoo. The inspiring story of Kirkja and the efforts of Bonita Bead Boutique are the Art for a good cause. Our products are crafted with the aim of making a positive impact on both individuals and the community, raising awareness for meaningful causes.
We are delighted to announce that 20% of the proceeds from each bracelet will be donated to the Toledo Zoo for Kirkja's care. Bonita Bead Boutique provides beads, jewelry repair, private classes, and offsite workshops.

We are a family oriented small business bead and jewelry boutique located in Historic Perrysburg. We originated in Historic Uptown Maumee since 2005. BBB also offers classes, jewelry repair service, fine jewelry repair, watch repair and hosts parties.
Bonita Bead Boutique, the store name is a nod to the Tristan's cultural origins. “Bonita” means beautiful in Spanish. Our goal has always been to bring you rare beads, jewelry, classes, to educate you about technique, and encourage you to experiment and design with beads. More about us

We accept walk-in or mail-in repairs from all over the U.S. Bring in your broken or over-worn piece of jewelry.
We can assist you with custom and/or repairing. No fee for jewelry consultation.
